The Hoboken Public School District’s Dual Language Pilot Program will offer English and Spanish speaking students an exciting, enriching, and challenging educational opportunity. The Dual Language Program, which will be piloted in a total of five (5) Kindergarten classrooms across the district, is an educational model that provides content-based instruction to students in two languages. The goal is for students in the program to become proficient and literate in both English and Spanish, while also meeting high academic standards and succeeding in our multicultural society and global economy as a result of growing cross-cultural competencies. It is the intent of the Hoboken Public School District to expand this pilot program annually, reaching the entire K-8 population by 2031-2032.
