Hoboken Public School District Adds Teen Summer Swim Opportunities
Hoboken, NJ, — Monday, July 1, 2024, The Hoboken Public School District is pleased to offer Teen Swim Opportunities at Hoboken High School this summer for all residents of Hoboken at no cost. The district’s goal is to ensure that all students learn to swim and feel confident in the water.
The following "Teen Learn to Swim" and "Teen Open Swim" sessions will be available on the following dates and times, for the following ages:
- Learn to Swim for Students Ages 13 to 15 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM on Tuesday, July 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th and on Thursday, August 1st
- Learn to Swim for Students Ages 16 to 18 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM on Tuesday, July 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th and on Thursday, August 1st.
- Open Teen Swim Time for Students Ages 13 to 18 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Tuesday, July 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th and on Thursday, August 1st.
Safety is our priority. Students must bring a school ID and sign in upon entry into the school.
The pool will be staffed with Red Cross Certified Lifeguards. Public Swim capacity is dependent on the number of lifeguard staff available to ensure proper safety ratios are maintained.
All swimmers are asked to bring personal towels and swim shoes. Proper swim attire must be worn in and around the pool.
