Please find the Hoboken Public School District's Remote Learning Plans. These plans were crafted by classroom teachers. The plans include special education modifications/accommodations at all grade levels. Additionally, we have added plans for ESL, Related Services, Self-Contained classrooms and Resource Room classrooms. Now that all families that were in need of technology, have been given Chromebooks, we are no longer distributing paper copies of lessons.

As you know, our plans have evolved during the first two Phases in weeks 1 through 4.  Now that Spring Break has concluded, we are embarking upon Phase 3 (week 6) of remote learning.

For PK 3 and PK 4, families will access Phase 3 remote learning plans via Class Dojo each Sunday evening by 7 p.m. There will be a brief message to all parents and guardians, as well as a schedule for the week of live teaching. Resources to support learning will also be included.

For Grades K-2, families will access Phase 3 remote learning plans via Class Dojo each Sunday evening by 7 p.m. There will be a brief message to all parents and guardians, as well as a schedule for both live teaching in the areas of ELA and Math, independent practice in both areas and office hours, as well as pre-recorded lessons in social studies, science, and the related arts. All live teaching will be recorded and saved for families who may not be able to log-in to the password protected zoom session at the scheduled time.

For Grades 3-5, families will access Phase 3 remote learning plans via Google Classroom each Sunday evening by 7 p.m.

For Grades 6-12, students will continue to access all of their work and any planned live teacher sessions and office hours through their Google Classroom, as previously done in the first two phases of our remote learning plans.

All families will have the support of classroom teachers, guidance counselors and child study team members as well as principals as each engages with our remote learning plans. Any student that encounters technology issues may email [email protected] for assistance.
