Data Security and Privacy

Educators, school administrators and parents use various types of student data in the course of ensuring quality outcomes for students.  The information used by schools might include assessments, grades, demographics, teacher reporting, and even homework or extracurricular participation —for varying purposes. Parents might use teacher reports to support academic growth at home. Teachers might use it to design effective instruction and communicate with parents. District administrators often use aggregate data to set district goals for achievement.

Our district recognizes the need to ensure security and privacy for student data and we comply with all federal and state laws to ensure the highest level of security and privacy. Our staff are trained in data security and privacy and incorporate the concepts in classroom instruction.
